This app is intended to demonstrate how Xstream adapts to whatever the network speed allows, to provide the highest quality audio. Shown for reference is how other streaming services perform under the same conditions, either not providing the quality that the network is capable of delivering or not being able to play when the network speed is too low. Note that Xstream uses a single file that will play at essentially all network speeds, while the other services play at only one level of quality.
How to use
1. Select the song that you’d like to play on the Album page
2. Go to the Demo page and select Live Demo to see how Xstream (green bar) adapts to different network speeds as you move around or go between cellular and WiFi networks.
3. Turn off Live Demo and slide the white dot up and down the Y-axis to manually simulate how the different streaming services behave under different network speeds.
